PEST DIRECTORY >> WASPS

Wasps

Appearance:
Wasps are slender, typically black and yellow, with smooth bodies and narrow waists. They have two pairs of wings and long legs that hang when flying.

How to Identify:
Wasps are often seen flying around or building paper-like nests under eaves, trees, or in the ground. Unlike bees, they are more aggressive and can sting multiple times.

Treatment Needed:
For a single sting, clean the area and apply ice to reduce swelling. Seek medical attention if allergic reactions occur. If you see a nest or frequent wasp activity around your home, contact pest control to safely remove the nest and prevent infestations.
